I too lost a family member to basic neglect of NHS employees to recognise an obvious problem. It was five years ago now but the injustice of that ill treatment is the thing that sticks in my craw. Losing someone is terrible but losing them when they ought to still be with you by any reasonable modern standard is what I still struggle to come to terms with. Thoughts are with you.
