That's such a sad story. I couldn't imagine having to go through such an event in my life. I sympathize with you very much. I have a 2 year old daughter that needs her mother in her life. God Bless!

Charlotte,
I'm really grateful to you for visiting and thank you for your extremely kind comments.

Whenever things have been tough I have always relied on children's hugs - they give me so much strength. What's nice is that they get a benefit at the same time!

Dear Ben
I have just read your incredible book this morning and cried all the way through. I have two children similar ages to yours and find it very heartbreaking. I think you have been so amazingly brave throughtout it all and to come out the other end still in one piece. You have written a book which will not only help so many people who have lost loved ones but make us so aware of Childbed Fever too. You deserve a huge medal and Harry and Emily are extremely lucky to have you as their Daddy. Keep happy, keep smiling and keep hugging your gorgeous children. xx
